By The Editor
In the beginning there were two journalists (sic) named Andrew Bolt and Tim Blair and they did groupthink. Then there was delivered to the blogosphere a guardian of truth called Boltwatch which did hold Andrew Bolt to account. But just like Tim Blair’s eponymous (and ridiculous) Blair’s Law in which “the world’s multiple idiocies are becoming one giant, useless force“, the noble mind behind Boltwatch announced The Blair/Bolt Watch Project which had as its mission: “tackling the multiple idiocies of the Australian blogosphere’s most giant, useless forces.”
And so it was.
Joining An Onymous Lefty’s Jeremy Sear in this important work are The Editor and Ant Rogenous from GrodsCorp plus a range of special contributors.

That is a very good title image. I mean seriously.
6 April, 2008 at 8:25 pm
And ye, the news did spread forth unto the intertubes, that the benevolent forces of the Australian Blogosphere had combined to stand sentinel, and Bolta and Timmeh became timid and frightened. And it was good.

actually the header is suspiciously well done, it looks like effort was put into that. did you kidnap someone to do it for you guys?

Jeremy locked me in a room with a laptop, a bottle of Scotch, a case of beer, a six pack of UDLs and an office-sized jar of Nescafe 43. He said I couldn’t come out until I’d produced a header image for the new site.
When I came out with a header image he said it was wrong, whipped me for
punishmentmotivation, and told me to try again. What you see is the second attempt. The first will never see the light of day. NEVER!
6 April, 2008 at 8:46 pm
Are you certain it wasnt for excitement?
6 April, 2008 at 8:47 pm
Trust me. A latte lefty such as myself never, ever drinks Nescafe for excitement.
6 April, 2008 at 9:10 pm
That explains the UDL’s
6 April, 2008 at 9:17 pm
awesome
simply awesome
have a decaf soy latte on me
6 April, 2008 at 9:55 pm
I look forward to this site continuing to highlight what a nonsensical boob Bolt truly is.
6 April, 2008 at 10:26 pm
Awesome work, guys. Well done!
And bravo for including the whole News Ltd Propaganda Machine in your line of fire. A site like this means people have even less reason to read such wankers, or even link to them.
Can I submit my Wanker Of The Day links? Most are News Ltd staffers, but Fairfax’s Ms Devine and Gerardo also feature regularly – are they also legitimate targets here at BBWP?
NB: For anyone who does not understand why anyone would not like Rupert, can I suggest this link as a starting point?

As Joyce Meyer would say, “Can I get an Amen?”
Amen.
6 April, 2008 at 10:45 pm
Well done. Though Landeryou is the worry, what with his obesity and various other health ailments.
6 April, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Ten! It took ten comments.
6 April, 2008 at 11:26 pm
Good work guys/girls.
No sign of the winged monkeys yet..
6 April, 2008 at 11:44 pm
Let them come.
6 April, 2008 at 11:46 pm
If Iain likes it, I like it.
I will let the others know and tell them to like it too.

Two idiots mocked for the price of one…
Astute economics…
The right-side lens of the ‘nocs appears to have a faint crack in it (or is it just me)…

I’ve read the OO’s op pages today so BBWP readers don’t have to:
Planet Janet is now Kevin Rudd’s best friend evuh.
In fact, everyone in Sussex Street loves Kev nowadays. That pre-election stuff was just a gag, don’t you know! Ha ha.
The new enemy of the Murdoch Mob is Reserve Bank governor Glenn Stevens: all the latest economic problems are his fault, not the previous government’s. Today Glenn Milne puts the boot in. That’ll teach Stevens to publicly contradict Malcolm Turnbull!
7 April, 2008 at 8:39 am
this should make for amusing reading
7 April, 2008 at 8:45 am
We should probably have launched with some actual posts.
7 April, 2008 at 9:13 am
Well done guys,
In these times of economic rationalism it is heartening to see the coming together of some great thinkers.
I hope we can see the mirror of the grodscorp rightwing group think tracker here.
The site is already in the favourites and i look forward to more updates.

“Jeremy locked me in a room with a laptop, a bottle of Scotch, a case of beer, a six pack of UDLs and an office-sized jar of Nescafe 43.”
Technically known as the “Phil Gude Method”.

“the world’s multiple idiocies are becoming one giant, useless force“
This is of course an apt description of the evolution of the left and, even more poignantly, the birth of the leftist/islamofascist alliance – siamese twins sharing their fecal anti-americanism.
LeftRogenous vs BoBlair should be interesting in a repulsive sort of way. Like watching a bunch of coprophagiacs munching their way through each others’ shit, ingesting it, reprocessing it, mixing it with their own in the brown bedroom of their bloated bowels until they blast the blended muck out of their respective sphincters, drenching the poor reader who can no longer distinguish one flavour of pungent stench from another. In the end it is just another case of same shit, different arseholes.

(Shorter SB…’Holy Crap!’)
Sweet guys, I look forward to the revelations to come…
7 April, 2008 at 10:58 am
SB, not getting you recommended daily fibre intake ?
7 April, 2008 at 11:47 am
If you’re looking for something to post about, Lugnuts’ (Bolts) post about Marieke Hardy from Saturday is a killer. If the bloke were any further up himself, his navel’d flap every time he took a breath.
7 April, 2008 at 11:50 am
* Tap SB on the shoulder
“Excuse me, dear, you’re doing it again…”
7 April, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Great site – great format – great look.
I can’t wait for the action to begin!
7 April, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Great header.
Who is that behind the ‘nocs??
7 April, 2008 at 1:00 pm
Well, If Iain likes it and MK is going to follow Iain, it must be good. If anyone doesn’t like it and can puzzle in the Muslims, let me me know and I will tell the others to HATE IT.
7 April, 2008 at 2:17 pm
hooooraaaayyyy!
7 April, 2008 at 6:55 pm
A site dedicated to critique of Tim Blair’s commentary should be called “The Blair Bleh!”
7 April, 2008 at 8:32 pm
An excellent start to a website that should help to put the ignorance and continual rewriting of history that Blair and Bolt promote in its proper place.
7 April, 2008 at 9:47 pm
I hope that we can (ooh BIG type..!) also use Rusty’s ravings on the Inciters on ABC TV Sundays. Lately there have some other Insighters who aren’t too cowed or disgusted by his excesses to stop Dolt in his rants seeking clarification/correction. The first of 2008 had Misha Schubert & Annabelle Crabbe are they jumped trounced him. Leoner taylor & Fran Kelly are up to the job too, but David Marr just looks dispeptic and turns his back
7 April, 2008 at 10:21 pm
nice new site and i have to agree that the header is really well done. no wonder my mum has to work so long if you spend your days doing this ed!!!!
