It comes as no real surprise that Andrew Bolt and a few News Ltd. colleagues (oh, and the odd illiterate blogger from rural Queensland) are about the only people in Australia who won’t give Kevin Rudd credit for criticising China’s human rights record, on Chinese soil and in the Chinese language. But Bolta’s such a rabid Rudd-hater that he doesn’t focus on what Rudd said, he focuses on what Rudd didn’t say.
Actually, Rudd limited his comments on human rights entirely to Tibet. There was not a word on democracy, freedom of speech, the jailing of Christian bishops or the jailing of human rights activists.
Doesn’t matter that no other world leader is willing to do the same as Rudd because the PM’s just a big communist anyway, as evidenced by his media advisor’s tie selection.
A bigger man than Bolt would give credit where’s its due, regardless of their personal politics.

I think Bolt painted himself into a corner here. He could hardly praise Rudd after continually laughing off his overseas trip as a photo opportunity. So he appears to be scrambling for something to criticise him with.
When even Greg Sheridan has given credit to Rudd you know Bolt is out on a limb!

Please don’t let Bolta’s anti-Rudd tirades make you angry.
If anything, they should fill you with the satisfying and comforting glow of schadenfreude.
That Bolt is filled with such a fiery, burning, and passionate dislike of Rudd. And that every day, Bolt has to wake up and remind himself that that same Mr. Rudd – the man he spends every minute of every hour despising and finding (fabricating?) fault with – is the Prime Minister and, by the looks of things, will be so for quite some time.

Bolta’s microchips must be fizzing and spluttering. He see’s one comunist publicly criticising the Actual communists. ***Error 401 FILE NOT FOUND***DOES NOT BOLTPUTE DOES NOT BOLTPUTE***Attempting System REBOOT*** File Entered//:Mandarin-Ruddslide-TIBETFAILURE***FILE CORRUPTED BOLTOSPHERE SHUTTING DOWN***

So if he wants progress, then he wants progress in absolutely every respect or nothing at all?!?! Sounds like the arguments of a desperate man who has dug a hole too deep for himself.

I’m an illiterate blogger from rural Queensland myself, and even I can’t fault the Ruddster on this one.
Time for banjo practice.

A bigger man than Bolt? That’s pretty much everyone. I attempted to post a comment, “Have you gone completely insane?” but it didn’t pass muster.
Any attempt to engage in anything even vaguely resembling intelligent debate with this ridiculous individual and his flock of flying monkeys would be as futile an exercise as trying to thrust one’s erect penis into a brick wall in the hope that the stone may yield up a little moisture.

Hence why we dont debate them but set up websites to humiliate their small wingspan and even smaller minds.
If its from a dodgy builder Ross, anything could happen.

That’s not exactly the purpose of Teebeebee, doubleyou pee… We’re retorting to their published writing, only.

Has anyone come up with a ‘R’ based aliteration to match Howard Hater, for Rudd? Bolt sure is the number one ticket holder of that group.

I love how he and his groupthink slaves derided the “HoWARd haters” and yet mercilessly attack every single thing Kevin Rudd has ever done or is going to do or might do, even when in most cases there is absolutely no need and they make themselves look vaguely unhinged.
I think Mr Bolt is trying to re-fight the 07 Federal Election. He just can’t handle an ALP Government, not even a fairly conservative and cautious one, after over a decade of Prime Minister Gollum.
Well, at least he’s not comparing Rudd to Mao anymore.

Rudd has shown Bolt up big time. Despite Bolt’s warnings, Rudd hasn’t destroyed relations with the US and has showed that despite his affection for China he’s not willing to be a patsy to them.
To even mention human rights abuses while in China was a brave, if not calulated, move by Rudd.
11 April, 2008 at 5:15 pm
Maybe the reason he’s refusing to praise Rudd on this issue is because if he did, he’d look even more inconsistent given his incessant hatred of the Greens, which are significantly more critical of China’s human rights abuses (although the chances of Boltites thinking the Greens are anything but people-hating, tree-fucking hippies who haven’t are pretty low).

If you want to see some Rudd-appreciation, check this out.
My favourite part is “He [Rudd]is everything the British prime minister wants to be, and is not – a king nerd who has crushed conservatism at home.”

Hang on you’ve all forgotten about Andy’s Chairman Rudd days. Irony, stupidity or a very big tell that he is not an insider in the know?
11 April, 2008 at 9:29 pm
It’s interesting, of course, that a balanced journalist (sic) like Andy doesn’t apply the blow torch with with as much zeal to long time Sinophile, Rupert Murdoch.
11 April, 2008 at 11:59 pm
You know, even the AWH mob acknowledged Rudd’s effort in Beijing. Go fucken figure.
12 April, 2008 at 2:52 am
Poor Andy…he probably still cries himself to sleep thinking about Honest John’s loss.

King Nerd – great nickname.

Bolt’s obsession with Rudd is now beyond a joke, in fact I think it may be indicative of an illness.
I tried to make this point by pointing out that, in his recent piece on the incest case, he had failed to blame either Rudd, or the Labor Government.
Predictably, several of his acolytes stepped up to the plate and did what was necessary.
Needless to say, my post failed to win a guernsey.

Chris Mayer – I vote for “Rudd Rage” or “Rudd Ragger”.

Rudd’s trip has been a fantastic success. and as it is with climate change, bolt yet again shows he’s on the margins.
12 April, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Imagine if it had been Johnny, Bolt’s idol, instead. Bolt would have been fawning. He would have had his normal two page spread totally devoted to it:
“This man of courage, this man of steel! Blah … blah … blah … “

Don’t you just love how the modern world is just passing the neo cons like Bolt, by. I mean FFS the conservative option for President in the USA looks like a rad, enviro green in comparison to the minority conservative freakworld occupied by Bolt.
His selfish, arrogant world is crumbling around him. He is however useful for amusing jest (e.g. this blog)
He has been crying out for a new dam in Victoria for as long as I remember. Yet I don’t read on any new projects. His bark is worse than his bite.
What about his little suckholes on his website and their pathetic attempts to sabotage Earth hour. Wow they actually turned all the lights on in their house. Wow look out! Keyboard warriors on the war path!- such pathetic petulance!
Keep up the great work guys!

Bush is about to announce he’s signing up to the Global Warming ‘Myth’. Shh, pretend it’s not happening. Look! Psycho Lefty Rudd staffer refuses to wear a tie! OHMYGOD!
BTW – Is Barry Bones really Andrew Bolt or one of his moderators?
Bolt bans and refuses to publish comments from Psycho Lefty World Destroyers all the time, but there’s Barry Bones always in with a usually stupid comment. Sometimes within a minute or two of a Bolt blog post going up.
Yes, Barry Bones is the Boltheads perfect cartoony version of the Psycho Lefties they love to hate so much so natch he won’t be banned. But how does Barry Bones always get in the first or second comment?
Boltheads are starting to get very very suspicious, as they should be.
