Intellectual dishonesty is pure poison to the enterprise of the law. Yet countless examples show intellectual dishonesty has now become a routine, expected part of American discourse. The most obvious half-truths and hypocrisies are greeted with shrugged shoulders and a grunt of “what did you expect?”
What’s that you say? Why does The Blair/Bolt Watch Project concentrate its efforts on tim Blair and Andrew Bolt and completely ignore the equally sterling efforts of the Pierses, the Marrses, the Devineses, the Albrechtsens?

Sounds great, and hey well done to Jeremy, Scott, Tobias and anyone else behind achieving this, what you are doing is very important. I consider the relatively recently emerging phenomenon of Blog sites like Bolt’s and Blair’s, to be an overwhelmingly unhealthy thing for society. Hence the necessity for sites like this and Pure Poison.
Iain Hall, there are fundamental difference between the blog sites of someone like Adams and those of say Bolt and Blair.
Whilst Adams, Like Bolt and Blair, regularly pigeon-holes himself through orthodoxial ideological servitude, and has a penchant for saying stupid things, I have never observed him engage in the level of dishonesty of people like and Blair and Bolt, nor engage in the same regularity of vitriol attacks of others, nor resort to the same juvenile political sloganeering that Bolt And Blair do, or for that manner many of today’s commentators who see themselves as representing “conservative” politics.
You don’t hear Adams resort to such inane comments like “what is it with the right and violence”. Or simply resort to blaming everything in the world on “the right”, as if doing this alone serves as some sort intellectual input and argument. I stille haven’t managed to get either Bolt or Blair, or any of their loyal idiots to define to me what “the left” is.
Additionally in today’s mainstream media for every Adams the are probably five Bolts or Blairs
But lastly, and probably most importantly, Adams’s blog isn’t censored and moderated, in the ludicrously partisan manner that Bolt’s and Blair are, in defence of the host. So that when Adams says something stupid, disingenuous or dishonest, he can be brought into line for doing so.
well done guys, you certainly deserve the higher circulation and exposure, and it’s about time the deranged rants from the rightwingers (not just the flowerpot men) are dissembled.

As I tried posting earlier. The new site sounds great. Well done to Jeremy, Scott, Ant, Tobias and everybody else who achieved it. My point is simply that Jeremy’s mission statement is entirely hollow and that this this mob will never actually make the effort to look at left wing loonies.

Dear readers, in the end, Iain Hall emailed Crikey for the terms to host a blog there. Three days later his blog still isn’t being hosted there. I think they said “No.”

This is way off topic, but I noticed that the number of comments on Andrew Bolt’s blog have decreased markedly since Barry Bones’ “disappearance/banning” around Feb 22. I also noticed that Andrew Bolt let Barry Bones, back on his blog in the last day or so.
So now I have questions. Does anyone know who Barry Bones is? Was Barry Bones allowed to return in order to save Bolt’s blog from decline? Is Barry Bones, Bolt himself? Surely someone out there knows the truth and is willing to spill the beans!

My mistake. It appears that he is stilled banned. I stand by what I said about Bolt’s numbers dropping since Barry’s banning though.
